Research
I am currently working on the X-ray line emission
from cataclysmic variables, the X-ray-emitting diffuse
gas in spiral galaxies, and completing a paper on the
X-ray-emitting supernova SN1978K, still going strong
after 15 years.
Teaching
I have been teaching the introductory astronomy
course for non-science majors for the past 3 semesters.
I have also taught an advanced introductory astrophysics
class, and a class in extragalactic astrophysics.
