  • Experimental solar and heliospheric Physics

  • Dynamics of planetary magnetospheres

  • Causes and effects of Space Weather

  • Design and development of novel space flight instruments

Teaching

I have recently (Spring 2006) joined the Department as an Adjoint Associate Professor. I am currently working with fellow space scientists at Southwest Research Institute and with faculty members of the Physics and Astronomy Department in developing UTSA’s first Graduate Program in Space Physics. While at University of Maryland, College Park, I mentored several undergraduate and graduate research projects, and I am looking forward to meeting and working with students and members of the department.
