Research

Optical and electrical system design, and instrumentation regarding biomedical instruments such as confocal microscopy, spectroscopic diagnostics of diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, nano-technologies for images and processing using piezoelectric single crystals, and laser radars for target location, recognition and tracking.
Smart materials such as piezoelectric and nonlinear optical materials for system control, information storage, and image processing.

Teaching

Electromagnetic Engineering, Technical Physics, Concept Physics, Technical Physics laboratories and General Physics laboratories.
